K2 Management has been awarded a construction management role on Cordelio Power’s 185MW Glacier Sands wind project in Illinois, the US.
This engagement comes on the back of supporting the project during its late development and pre-construction phases.
K2 Management will perform construction management until commercial operation, closely monitoring the project to ensure quality assurance and compliance.
The scope of work includes the management of project stakeholders, site activities, OEMs and contractors by the team locally in the US.
Cordelio Power operations and project development vice president Paul Rapp said: “Glacier Sands is a significant part of Cordelio Power’s commitment to clean energy growth in midwestern US.
“We appointed K2 Management’s experienced team to leverage its deep technical expertise and project delivery know-how through development and construction of this project.”
Glacier Sands onshore wind farm, situated in Mason County, Illinois, is expected to complete construction in late 2021.
