Orsted and PGE are preparing to launch the qualification tender process for turbines for the 2500MW Baltica 2 and 3 offshore wind farms off Poland.
The tender will be launched in week 26 or 27 of 2021 using the UNCE qualification system for procurement with product codes 3.23.6 and the keyword ‘Offshore’.
Price will not be the only award criterion, the announcement said.
Orsted and PGE closed a 50:50 joint venture agreement in May to develop the two projects.
Baltica 2 and 3 were awarded initial Contracts for Difference by the Polish authorities in April.
