Japanese crew commissions Korean onshore

Japanese developer Eurus Energy Group and its partners have started commercial operations at the 21MW Samsu wind farm in South Korea.

The project is located in Gangwon-do in a mountainous area with an altitude of more than 1000 metres and comprises five 4.5MW turbines.

Eurus Energy owns 56.7% of the project, with Daehan Green Energy (24.3%) and Korea South-East Power (19%) holding the remaining shares.
Samsu brings total Eurus’ total wind capacity in the country to 177MW, with the company owning three other wind farms.

The company also owns 4MW of solar in South Korea.
